My divorce was the hardest thing I ever had to go through. Tougher than getting clean and sober — and drinking alcohol and substance abuse was like breathing air to me. The decision, the pain, the splitting of a family, the financial hardships — it felt like a death sentence. There is a recovery on the other side, there is a rainbow and my biggest lesson. It takes TWO to make it work and recover. Can’t be a one-man show!
